Savannah, GA | 4th of July
We kicked off the 4th of July festivities at the beach with the Vivint team. It was a blast!
We spent the 4th of July back at the Westin Savannah Harbor with family and friends. We booked rooms last year with Steve + Ali (siblings), their two girls, and Cole + Tiana (Vivint friends) and it was a blast, so we had to do a repeat this year!
I took waaaay too many pictures (according to Robby) but I loved loved LOVED his outfit... do boys wear outfits?? Anyway, I thought it looked too good so I had to document it. Still deciding which image will be my new screen-saver.
The Westin sits on the opposite side of the River Walk in downtown Savannah, so we got such a good view of the town, boats, and river from our room.
The wives and girlfriends this summer. This group is small but it's made it so fun! When your husbands are gone for a majority of the day.. and a majority of the week, it can be hard. But hanging out with these girls makes up for it!
One of the best parts about doing the 4th of July at the Westin is being so stinkin' close ( as close as you can get) to the firework show that happens over the river. I'm used to being at the Stadium of Fire in Utah with it's incredible fireworks... but I must say, the River Walk fireworks do not disappoint. If you are thinking of visiting Savannah at all... go during the 4th! There are so many fun things to do around town and lots of awesome firework shows from Tybee Island, to Hilton Head (South Carolina) to the River Walk.

A memorable 4th of July to say the least. I can't believe this will be our last 4th in Savannah.
