The Day Before - The Day Before Christmas
The 23rd of December isn't just any day in the Isom home... it's a Christmas tradition full of food and activities throughout the day. We call it "The Day Before The Day Before Christmas". Pretty creative, eh? When I was younger we used to start the day at DI (Deseret Industries), picking out crazy outfits for each other. Then we'd wear those outfits out-and-about to do various activities; bowling, lunch, ice skating, etc. We'd day the day with a family picture in our crazy outfits. Although we don't dress up crazy anymore we still carry on the tradition. And this year, we went hard...
Waffles for breakfast
Bowling
Hawaiian Haystacks for lunch
Get Out Games
Tubing at Soldier Hollow
Dinner at In-N-Out
All-in-all this day has become one of my favorite Isom family traditions. It's always such a fun-packed day with my family and I love it! Until next year!
