Jan 3 We're Having a Baby!

A life-long dream of ours is becoming a reality in June… we’re having a BABY!

We had been trying for about six months and took several negative pregnancy tests before getting a positive one. I wasn’t feeling well in mid-October when my sense of smell was through the roof, my chest was so sore, and I was nauseous and fatigued. On October 18th, Robby left to go golfing and I ran to Walmart and grabbed a test. I took it right away and was SHOCKED when I saw that it was positive! I waited another hour and took a second test just to be sure. I had to wait another three hours before Robby came home and I told him. He was just as shocked and didn’t believe me when I first told him!

We went to our first appointment in November where we saw our little bean on the ultrasound and heard the heartbeat for the first time I feel in love. I can’t believe I’m pregnant and we’re actually going to have a baby. I’ve always wanted to be a mom and I can’t wait to see what our little one is like. We’ve since gone to one other appointment in December and everything looks great! We’ll find out the gender in two weeks! Eeeek! Robby is set on it being a girl but I honestly have NO CLUE! I’ve felt extremely blessed because the first trimester I was just nauseous (never threw up thankfully), fatigued, and had sciatic pain in my butt and legs. I’ve loved pregnancy and watching what my body is capable of doing.

Needless to say we’re extremely thrilled and excited for this next step in our lives. Being parents is something we’re been looking forward to for a long time!
