How To Clean Your Hair Brush
This is a friendly reminder that you should be deep-cleaning your hairbrushes every two weeks. Not only getting the hairs out but really ridding it of all the dead skin, lint, and build-up. Cleaning your brushes is SO easy to do! Here’s how I clean my WET brush:
Rake all the hair out of your brush using a bobby pin or comb.
Fill a container with equal parts water (I use distilled) and white vinegar.
Soak your brush in the solution overnight.
In the morning, brush through your hairbrush using a toothbrush to get all the build-up out.
Leave your hairbrush out, bristles down, to dry.
WA-LA! Now your brush looks and feels brand new again! I recommend raking the hair out of your brush often (maybe every few days) and doing this deep-clean frequently (every 2-3 weeks). Let me know if you try this and how it works for you!
