October Bucket List

-Drive up Provo Canyon-

This is a must. Forever and always. The changing leaves and colors are INSANELY beautiful. There are views in every direction!

-A Pumpkin Patch-

There are dozens of pumpkin patches in Utah. Go pick out your pumpkin, do a hay ride, and take plenty of pictures!

-Cornbelly's Maze and Pumpkin Patch-

Robby and I went with a group of friends to Cornbelly's corn maze at Thanksgiving Point last year. There are games, food, haunted houses, and TONS of other activities! It's good for all ages and you could easily spend an entire afternoon or evening there!

-Halloween Cruise Down Provo River-

Take a boat ride down the Provo River! You'll want to bundle up for this activity too!

-Haunted House / Haunted Forest

I'm not a big fan of getting scared, but it seems like a haunted house/forest is a must! There's several different haunted houses in Utah as well.

 -Sundance Moonlight Lift-

A favorite of mine! This is another activity we did last year and it was so fun! Take a date, go with a group, or your family! Be sure to dress warm and bring a blanket or two!

-Oktoberfest in Snowbird-

A family affair filled with food and activities!

-Pumpkin Carving-

Each year my family does a pumpkin carving night the week before Halloween. It used to be a fun filled night, but it's turned into a heated competition with votes taken from friends through Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

-Frightmares at Lagoon-

If you're looking for a kid-friendly activity, Lagoon at Halloween is the place to be! It's the second best thing to Disneyland at Halloween, which I've always wanted to do!

-"The Howl" dance at Utah State University-

If you're single or just looking for a good party with a group of friends, The Howl is the biggest Halloween costume dance party around!

-Witches Night Out at Gardener Village-

Wear a witch costume and join your girls for a night of good food and cute shops and even dancing!

-Baking Pumpkin Goodies-

Because everything pumpkin tastes better!

-Trunk or Treat-

Local churches will occasionally have a trunk-or-treat for families and kids!

-Watch a Scary Movie

Again, I'm not a fan of scary things, so scary movies aren't my jam. BUT, if you are then grab some friends or even better, a date, and pick a scary movie. You could even watch it outside! There's always a scary movie in theaters at this time of year too.

-Boo at the Zoo-

Trick-or-treat at the Hogle Zoo! Great for kids and families!

-Hee Haw Hay Rides and Animals-

Another great idea for kids. Hay rides, animals and pony rides!

-Haunted Half-

Races of all lengths and for all ages! Dress up and wear a costume too!

-Heber Creeper's Train Ride-

A great alternative to driving through the canyon. The Heber Creeper takes you through the canyon to see the leaves and colors. Great for kids! Dress warm!

-Howl O Ween Parade in Park City-

Park City Main Street Parade. Dress up and dress your four-legged friends up as well!
